I've always been a big reader, and I read every day. I'm also quite happy leafing through a dictionary. (Who wouldn't be right?) I started writing in 2021, more for my own amusement, but I found I rather liked it. Writing also helped with my mental health, and I ended up writing a book about my experiences, titled All My Life.
Like Dick Whittington, I thought I would then come across streets paved with gold, but, like many aspiring writers, I am a work in progress (and I don't have a cat). I would also continue to write regardless, and hope that my love of writing shines through in the characters, worlds I have created, and the subjects I tackle.
My next children's book, arriving soon, is the first in a three-book series about our beloved Labrador, Bailey, the Frog and the Magic Sack. I've also written the sequel to Mobile Whale, titled Bermuda Whale, and have several other children's books ready for print.
My first adult novel, The Message, set in 2019 in Manchester, is being submitted to various publishers (click on the adult fiction tab at the top). You've probably realised by now that I don't watch much TV (apart from Dad's Army) or get out much, so thanks for visiting. If you'd like to get in touch with me, please send a message below.
Until then, I bid you farewell. I've got stuff to write, and repeats of Dad's Army to watch. Don't Panic!
HELLO
