Ever since Greek athletes wrestled naked on the sands of the Olympic arena and discovered that olive oil wasn’t such a great idea, the UK has achieved greatness in the world of sport: Roger Bannister breaking the 4-minute mile in 1954, England winning the 1966 World Cup, and Red Rum winning the Grand National for the third time in 1977.

 Now, following in the footsteps (and hooves) of these sporting leviathans are seven men who will take on another seemingly impossible challenge.

  Luke Brighty enters a new team into the women’s UK North West Amateur Netball competition, hoping to win £100,000. The team is also all men, none of whom have ever played netball before.

  Fifteen all-female teams stand in their way, and Beatrice Larkspur will stop at nothing to prevent them from progressing.

  With one ball, seven men, and only one shot, what could go wrong?
